Isaac was set to appear in court in December, his chance to give his side of the story. If he succeeded, it would all be over for Dominic. The court would see the truth, and Isaac would walk free. But Dominic had one last card to play—a final, ruthless gambit: the Stalking Prevention Order.

The interim order was a temporary win for Dominic, but it was fragile. It prohibited Isaac from contacting Dominic directly or indirectly. If Isaac breached it, he would face a five-year prison sentence. Dominic had pinned all his hopes on that order. But how to make Isaac break it? That’s where his dastardly plan came in.

Dominic had connections—people who owed him favours, people skilled in the shadowy realms of technology. He contacted an old friend, a tech-savvy individual who had been experimenting with AI. Dominic handed him Isaac’s phone number and, with it, a chilling request: use AI to replicate Isaac’s voice. With this, they could stage the perfect crime.

The plan unfolded like clockwork. Dominic leaked his phone number into the public domain, a seemingly innocent move, but one that set everything in motion. His friend got to work, feeding hours of Isaac’s public recordings into an advanced AI system, building a flawless replica of his voice.

One night, Dominic received the call. A threatening voice on the other end—the voice of Isaac Vance—accusing him, cursing him, and finally, issuing a chilling ultimatum. Dominic smirked as he hit record, capturing every word of the fabricated threat.

The next day, Dominic walked into the police station with his phone in hand. "I’ve been threatened," he said, his voice trembling with just the right amount of fear. He played the recording for the officers. There was no mistaking it—the voice was unmistakably Isaac’s.

The police acted quickly. Dominic had video evidence, a clear violation of the stalking prevention order. Isaac was arrested and thrown into a cell, his future hanging by a thread.

But Dominic’s victory lap was short-lived. In his eagerness to destroy Isaac, he’d overlooked one crucial detail. Isaac, though unaware of the specific plan, had anticipated a setup. His lawyer, a shrewd investigator, had been tracking Dominic’s every move.

The lawyer obtained the AI tool’s usage logs, cross-referenced suspicious activity, and subpoenaed Dominic’s tech-savvy friend. The plot unravelled, and Dominic’s scheme was exposed.

When December came, it wasn’t Isaac in court defending himself. It was Dominic, charged with perjury, conspiracy, and attempting to use AI to frame an innocent man.

Isaac watched from the gallery, calm and composed, as the judge handed Dominic a five-year prison sentence—the very fate Dominic had so desperately tried to impose on him.

And so, Dominic Thorne’s dastardly plan came full circle.
